- won the Stanley Cup (2010)
- One of only six players to win Olympic gold and the Stanley Cup in the same year.

FOUR reasons why I love him:
1. His nickname is Captain Serious (but you can't fool me Toews. The woman who writes HFTL couldn't say it any better: I know there's a tiger inside you waiting to pounce on his "prey";))
2. He has a lake named after him in Manitoba: Lake Toews
3. The photos of him and Patrick Kane are so awkward they're cute

El-oh-el
4. He's the one guy I have to tease my friend about (who, might I add, is in LOVE with him)

THREE reasons why I love him:
1. He's the best goalie that I've seen in a very long time. Definitely a future Hall-of-Famer
2. Has played on the same team for 19 years (yes, that may seem long, but let's not forget that he's won three Stanley Cups with the Devils)
3. He has a rule named after him: The Brodeur Rule (a rule that prevents goalies from playing the puck behind the goal line unless it's within trapezoid-shaped zone behind the net)

Why I love him: He named his son Tag. A bit gutsy for my tastes; lucky the kid's dad makes 3.85 million a season or else he would have nothing to defend himself with.

Clutch.

For those of you who didn't watch, he was making his speech (which was running too long), so they producers started playing music so he'd finish. The hosts for the next awards came out while the music was playing, but Ovi didn't leave the stage.
