Hockey Stuff:
- 20th overall in 1990
- he has made 12 career records, 2 regular season records, 5 playoffs records, and 30 franchise records (Most of these records Brodeur has broken were held by goalies who have played a full 20 year career at least!!!!!!!)
- he is the youngest goaltender in NHL history to reach the 300, 400 and 500 regular season win plateaus and is the only goaltender to reach 600 regular season wins (602, to be exact)
- Calder Memorial Trophy (1994)

- won the Stanley Cup (1995, 2000, 2003)
- Vezina Trophy (2003, 2004, 2007, 2008)
William M. Jennings Trophy (1997 (with Mike Dunham), 1998, 2003 (tied Roman Čechmánek & Robert Esche), 2004, 2010)
THREE reasons why I love him:
1. He's the best goalie that I've seen in a very long time. Definitely a future Hall-of-Famer
2. Has played on the same team for 19 years (yes, that may seem long, but let's not forget that he's won three Stanley Cups with the Devils)
3. He has a rule named after him: The Brodeur Rule (a rule that prevents goalies from playing the puck behind the goal line unless it's within trapezoid-shaped zone behind the net)
