Day 5

Ryan Miller

Birthday: July 18, 1980 (Age 30)
Hometown: East Lansing, Michigan
Height: 6 ft. 2 in.
Weight: 182 lb.
Position: Goalie
Current Team: Buffalo Sabres
Hockey Stuff:
- drafted 138th overall in 1999
- was the starting goalie for the Sabres in the 2005
- ranked 11th among NHL goalies with a 2.60 GAA, and 9th with a save percentage of .914.
- Miller proved himself to be one of the hardest working goalies in the league
- GAA under 2.00 before the olympics
- Starting goalie for the United States of America during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics
- won silver in the 2010 olympics
- NHL Foundation Player Award (2010)
Why I love him: I do respect a goalie with talent (yeah yeah who doesn't). I have to give him props for the way he played during the olympics (minus the goal scored by Crosby, but I don't even think Bauer could have saved that)
- Vezina Trophy for top goaltender (2010)
- NHL First All-Star Team (2010)
